Bruny Germain, MD Dr. Germain is the Unit Chief of Adult Inpatient Services at St. Vincent's Behavioral Health Services. Since joining Hall-Brooke in 1979, he has served several times as Hall-Brooke Hospital Interim Medical Director. He has developed great expertise in treating adult psychiatric patients. Dr. Germain received his Medical Degree from the Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara, Mexico. His residency training was at Connecticut Valley Hospital and Yale University. Additionally, he currently serves as president of the Connecticut Psychiatric Society, Fairfield/Litchfield Chapter and is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Dr. Germain was recognized as the first Hall-Brooke “Employee of the Year,” and in the future, the award will be titled: “The Dr. Bruny Germain Award of Excellence,” as homage to Dr. Germain’s special importance at St. Vincent's Behavioral Health Services.
