Sheila Copperman, MD
Sheila Cooperman, M.D. is Associate Chief Medical Officer at St. Vincent's Behavioral Health Service, Westport Campus and Vice Chair of Psychiatry for St. Vincent’s Medical Center, in Bridgeport. Prior to this appointment, Cooperman served as Service Chief of Adolescent and Eating Disorder Services at Silver Hill Hospital in New Canaan, CT. Dr. Cooperman received her Medical Degree from the American University of the Caribbean, British West Indies, and completed her training at Norwich Hospital and Tufts University/New England Medical Center in Adult Psychiatry. She is Board Certified in Adult Psychiatry and Addiction Psychiatry. Prior to joining Hall-Brooke and St. Vincent’s, Dr. Cooperman served as Clinical Affiliate for Adult Chemical Dependency at Cornell University-New York Hospital, Westchester Division in White Plains, NY and as the Medical Director of the Adolescent Chemical Dependency Unit at Four Winds Hospital in Katonah, NY.
