Asini Gunawardana, MD

Dr. Gunawardana is a board certified child, adolescent and adult staff psychiatrist at St Vincent’s Behavioral Health Services. She completed her residency and fellowship training in 2006 at the University of Texas in Houston. After graduation, she joined Capital Health System in Trenton, New Jersey as the Child Psychiatrist in the Youth Emergency Services. Later she joined the University Medical Center in Princeton, New Jersey as the child psychiatrist in the intensive out patient and partial hospital program at Princeton House. She has also worked in private practice and as adjunct faculty at the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Jersey from 2007- 2009. She has published in 2 journals and presented at the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry 53rd annual meeting in 2006.
