Tara Kerner, D.O. received her Doctor of Osteopathy from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2003 and completed her psychiatric residency at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center in New York. At St. Luke's, she served as Chief Resident where she steered residents on the proper treatment of acute and chronically mentally ill patients on the inpatient unit and was charged with weekly supervision of medical students. At St. Vincent's Behavioral Health Services, Dr. Kerner is responsible for providing inpatient behavioral health services for adults seeking treatment at the 76-bed facility.
Dr. Kerner received her B.S. with a concentration in biology from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI and is a member of the American Psychiatric Association and the Association for Community Psychiatrists.
