St. Vincent's Behavioral Health Services provides inpatient treatment for acute psychiatric conditions, medical detoxification for persons who are chemically dependent, as well as a specialized program for individuals with co-existing psychiatric and substance abuse disorders. Treatment is under the clinical supervision of a board-certified psychiatrist. A patient's treatment plan revolves around a thorough evaluation of the individual's medical, psychiatric, social, and occupational needs with the family strongly encouraged to be involved in the therapy and discharge planning.
