St. Vincent’s Behavioral Health Services, a service of St. Vincent’s Medical Center, offers inpatient services for individuals with behavioral health needs and addiction issues in Westport and Bridgeport. The combined service includes 92 acute care inpatient beds which makes the inpatient service of St. Vincent’s Behavioral Health Services one of the largest in the state of Connecticut. In addition, The Westport Campus offers a unique inpatient care program for children and adolescents with behavioral health needs.

St. Vincent’s Behavioral Health Services' inpatient care offers comprehensive acute psychiatric, medical detoxification and dual diagnosis treatment for children, adolescents and adults. Locations include:

• St. Vincent’s Medical Center, Behavioral Health Service, Westport Campus (formerly known as Hall-Brooke Hospital) provides children, adolescents and adults with a comprehensive psychiatric, medical detoxification and dual diagnosis treatment program to address mental health and addiction disorders. The inpatient program at our 76-bed inpatient facility provides patients with a safe, highly structured and supportive environment designed to encourage positive behavioral growth and improve functioning.

• St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Bridgeport offers inpatient psychiatric, medical detoxification and dual diagnosis treatment services for adults with mental health and substance abuse disorders in our 16-bed acute care unit.

*Now offering a specialized detoxification and induction program for adults with an addiction to opiates using the FDA-approved drug, Suboxone®. Patients are admitted to our inpatient service at 47 Long Lots Road in Westport and undergo medically supervised detoxification or induction by an experienced physician/nurse clinical team.
