Visiting Guidelines
We encourage family members and significant others to visit patients while they are at St. Vincent's Medical Center, Behavorial Health Service, Westport Campus.

Each unit and program varies in terms of policy and visiting hours. At the time of admission you will receive a handbook with written information about each unit's visiting policies. It is important to keep in mind that the clinical needs of the patient is our number one priority so families need to allow sufficient time for us to provide quality care.

Children under the age of 16 are not permitted to visit the units.

Quality of Care
Quality management processes are in place to ensure services are provided with the highest quality of care and concerns for the safety of our patients. Questions regarding treatment or the services provided can be directed to the patient's treatment team or the Patient Advocate.  The Patient Advocate can be reached by calling 203-341-4532.

Should there be a need, patients and their families have the right to contact the Joint Commission or the Connecticut Department of Public Health.
