The psychiatric emergency department at St Vincent’s Medical Center in Bridgeport is ready 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to respond to patients experiencing a mental health crisis and needing emergency psychiatric intervention.
Our multi-disciplinary team provides compassionate care focused on personalized behavioral health evaluations to best understand the person’s needs. This includes identifying the appropriate level of care needed and supporting family members and other supports as we work to help those in need reclaim their sense of well-being and return to a healthy, functioning life.
