Urgent Care

1-hr PCR COVID testing. Walk-in. No appointment needed!

SVMC Urgent Care

Bumps, bruises, sprains, aches, and sneezes. For treatment of non-life-threatening illness and injuries, along with physical exams and X-rays, Hartford HealthCare Urgent Care centers are there to provide you with medical care and advice. With five locations in Fairfield County, we’re there to get you feeling back to normal fast. And since illness and injury don’t always happen when the doctor’s office is open, we’re open late and early.

For immediate care when you need it, rely on our Urgent Care Centers, open 7 days a week.

COVID Services

All centers offer walk-in 1-hr PCR COVID testing.

Diagnostic testing for coronavirus testing couldn’t be easier. Walk-in 1-hr PCR COVID-19 testing is currently available at all our Fairfield County urgent care locations.

  • RT-PCR Testing
RT-PCR (Reverse Transcriptase polymerase chain reaction) is a type of viral diagnostic test that specifically identifies the RNA sequences that comprise the genetic material of the virus. A test specimen is obtained from the patient with a simple nasal swab, and processed on-site with results in less than 1-hr. These tests are highly sensitive and able to detect very small amounts of viral RNA. The results will be available in real time on your MyChart account.

Testing Hours:

  • Mon-Fri, 8am-8pm
  • Sat & Sun, 9am-5pm

NOTE: Testing requires an office visit resulting in an office visit charge/co-pay.\
