Wound Care

About 6.5 million Americans have a wound that doesn’t heal properly and could lead to such serious complications as amputation and sepsis. With locations across the state, Hartford HealthCare’s Advanced Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine Center is the place people can access high-quality treatment and, if needed, hyperbaric oxygen chambers for problem wound.

Our team of internists, vascular surgeons, reconstructive surgeons, nutritionists and specially-trained wound care nurses assess each patient’s condition and devise an individualized plan that promotes healing.

If you have a wound that will not heal, talk to your healthcare provider as soon as possible. You might benefit from the advanced help available at the Wound Care Center.
